The Representative Council elections of Student Union SAMMAKKO for 2020 are conducted between 28.9.2020 – 4.11.2020.
Nomination period: 28.09.2020 9.00 – 16.10.2020 12:00.
Preliminary electronic voting: 26.10.2020 9:00 – 01.11.2020 12:00.
The schedule for ballot box voting:
– 02.11. 11:00 – 14:00, Fine Arts Campus and Kuninkainen Campus
– 03.11. 10:00 – 15:00 SAMK Campus Rauma and SAMK Campus Pori
– 04.11. 10:00 – 15:00 SAMK Campus Pori and SAMK Campus Rauma
In the election, 20 members and 20 vice members will be elected into the Council of Representatives.
All members of the student union can stand as candidates in these elections. Membership fee must be paid before the nomination period closes.
Forms for nominating and setting up an electoral alliance can be found from the student union offices and website before the nomination period begins. All candidates must fill in and return these forms electronically to vaalit@sammakko.fi or to the student unions’ offices by 16.10.2020, 12:00.
Advertising in these elections must be carried out with good taste and careful consideration. SAMK mailing lists cannot be used for campaigning. Campaigning near ballot box voting or other official election events is prohibited.
Electoral register can be found from the student union offices when the nomination period begins.
Complaints concerning the electoral register must be submitted to the secretary general during the elections.
All electors can vote during the preliminary electronic voting. If an elector does not vote in the preliminary electronic voting, he/she can vote during the ballot box voting at any campus.
